Paul Kim, CFA

Paul is a career investor with 25+ years in public markets. He began in equity research at Bank of America before moving to the buyside as an analyst/portfolio manager at SAC Capital/Point72 and Omega Advisors. Today he runs know.capital, directing most profits to social-impact initiatives in education, food, and economic equality. He serves as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence with Drexel’s Food Lab and CUNY Startups, mentors founders, and previously taught investment analysis and entrepreneurship at CCNY—where he received an Excellence in Teaching award. Paul has served on multiple nonprofits and holds both a BS (marketing/management) and an MBA (finance/international business) from NYU Stern. At EmberGrow he focuses on investment strategy, portfolio construction, and LP partnerships.
