Thomas Siegert

With over four decades of financial leadership, Thomas (Tom) Siegert brings a wealth of experience and wisdom to EmberGrow. Most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer of the IEEE from 2010 until his retirement in April 2025, Tom led the organization’s global finance and business administration efforts and was a key member of the IEEE Management Council. He supported the Finance, Audit, and Investment Committees, ensuring operational excellence and fiduciary integrity throughout his tenure. Prior to joining IEEE, Tom held senior roles in the pharmaceutical, advertising, and financial services sectors, including Assistant Treasurer positions at Wyeth and Interpublic Group, and began his career at PNC Bank. A licensed Certified Public Accountant (NJ), Tom has also shared his knowledge in the classroom, teaching Accounting and Finance at Villanova University and Fairleigh Dickinson University. Tom holds a B.A. in Economics (with honors) from Boston College and an MBA in Finance from Pace University. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Metuchen and is a Public Trustee of the New Jersey SeaGrant Consortium.
